Working as festival director and producer, Jas was solely responsible for developing this original idea. After in-depth research, Jas managed fundraising activity, brand development and marketing, equipment and technical hire for the festival which ran over ten days screening 15 films.

Jas set-up and hosted a film-making weekend for 12 young film-makers. He created
strategic business partnerships and worked with nearly 30 in-house and freelance professionals to enable film development and programming, management, final delivery and evaluation of the festival.

Flicks Art Exhibition accompanied the festival, a digital exhibition celebrating moving image video artwork, created by six digital artists, selected by Jas from a national selection process.
